Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas is offering an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern opportunity to support our engineering teams with design documentation and electrical system drawings. You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit while learning from seasoned professionals in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, have completed at least your second year, and are eager to expand their knowledge through design calculations, site

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering
• Must be at a minimum, completed your second year
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a plus
• Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
