Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support electrical engineering project work across manufacturing sites, including design, drafting, vendor reviews, and startup activities. You will collaborate with designers, vendors, and construction teams to deliver safe, compliant power distribution and process-control solutions that support production objectives.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Sophomore standing and strong communication skills.

Sophomore standing at time of internship
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Prepare project electrical specifications and summaries for front‑end design packages
Develop project drawings with the electrical designer for electrical and control layouts
Review electrical and control vendor drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements
Support construction activities and coordination with contractors and site teams
Contribute to electrical instrumentation development and estimates for new projects
Assist in the development of site power distribution and process control system design
Support project checkout and startup activities at manufacturing sites
