Stfrancis in Chicago invites student engineers to join our team for hands-on experience on power projects, from retrofits to new generation installations and renewables. You'll work on project teams supporting engineering members and contribute to design calculations and drawings.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

About You

The company is looking for:

• Students with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with strong academic background in electrical power concepts and AC power systems analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and strong PC skills.
• Preferred but not required: prior related internship or co-op experience and enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Understanding of practical application of electrical engineering principles, techniques, and procedures to project design.
• Willingness or ability to solve engineering problems using data, automation, and AI tools to improve workflows and deliver cost-effective designs.
• Valued skills include programming or scripting (Python, MATLAB, advanced Excel) for automation, and additional training in Computer Science, AI, or Software Engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $18.00 - $30.00.
