Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering student intern to contribute to the design of high-speed connectors. Interns will have hands-on experience with lab testing of new products, specification creation, and engineering support for existing lines. Ideal candidates should be pursuing their Bachelor's degree with junior status, possess teamwork and problem-solving skills, and have an interest in Optical Engineering. The role offers a pay rate starting at $19/hr in the United States.

Job description

Panduit is seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer student that is willing to combine both theory and practical hands-on knowledge to design the high-speed connectors enabling the backbone of the Internet that we use today. What You Will Do

Strong focus on lab related testing of new products. Coordinate with Product Management to create specifications for new products with customer input.

Provide engineering support for existing product lines by responding to customer technical inquiries, addressing quality concerns, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance, handling product application issues/questions, collaborating with manufacturing cells to improve efficiency or lower production costs, and providing general technical support to handle the day-to-day business needs.

What You Will Bring
