Job summary

Xcimer Energy in Denver, CO seeks an Electrical Engineer on the Integration team to transform wiring definitions into complete electrical design packages and carry them through fabrication, checkout, and handoff with the E&I technician team.

Working within the EE department, you will own design packages from requirements through as-built, applying technical expertise to support Xcimer's directed energy program developing multi-kilojoule-class pulsed lasers for air defense.

Responsibilities

• Turn the control system's wiring and interconnect definitions into complete electrical design packages.
• Carry design packages through fabrication, checkout, and handoff with the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (E&I) technician team.
• Own design packages from requirements through as-built within the Electrical Engineering department, working independently on problems of diverse scope with milestone reviews.
• Support Xcimer's directed energy program, developing multi-kilojoule-class pulsed lasers for air defense applications.

This is a full-time, onsite role based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.

As an Electrical Engineer on our Integration team, you will turn the control system's wiring and interconnect definitions into complete, buildable electrical design packages and carry them through fabrication, checkout, and handoff with the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (E&IC) technician team, initially in support of Xcimer's directed energy program, which is developing multi-kilojoule-class pulsed lasers for air defense applications. Working within the Electrical Engineering department, you will own design packages from requirements through as-built, working independently on problems of diverse scope with review at key design milestones.
