Job summary

WA River Protection Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the Design Engineering organization at Hanford, delivering in-house design engineering for production operations, waste retrievals, and facilities maintenance. You will produce power distribution designs, I&C wiring documents, and interface with suppliers to drive quality, safety, and compliance across projects. The role emphasizes minimal oversight and team leadership.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with relevant experience.
• Grade levels include 1–2–4 years experience variants.
• Experience applying IEEE, NFPA and NEMA standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering designs, calculations, and analyses within project budget and schedule.
• Develop power distribution designs: panels, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, transformers, and switchgear.
• Create I&C wiring documents from P&ID drawings for control panels and process automation.
• Lead design tasks and interface with mechanical, civil, and process engineers.
• Support field installation and coordinate with vendors.
