Job summary

Central Plateau Cleanup Comp in Richland, WA, seeks an experienced electrical engineer for a senior engineering role focused on safety-compliant design, analysis, and support for facilities at Hanford. You will report to the T-plant engineering manager and lead projects within the WP&O organization.

The position requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering with multi-year experience, possible EIT, and a willingness to work in a highly regulated DOE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Career Grade 19 requires 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Senior Grade 20 requires 10+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the T-plant engineering manager.
• Assist/lead in projects to support the WP&O organization.
• Ensure designs and modifications comply with Facility Nuclear Safety Basis.
• Provide technical support to facility operations.
• Generate designs & calculations and write reports.
• Interfacing with Operations personnel.
