Job summary

Arconic is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design, implementation, and maintenance of facility electrical distribution systems in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot process electrical systems and collaborate with a multi-discipline team to deliver reliable power effectively.

The role requires strong knowledge of power distribution, PLC platforms, and AutoCAD, with emphasis on safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of power and electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, drawings, and specs.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve facility electrical distribution systems including MV/LV power, switchgear, MCCs, and transformers.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and process electrical systems with a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for capital projects and electrical solutions at FEL stages.
• Lead onsite Electrical Safety Program; ensure NFPA/NEC/OSHA compliance with EHS collaboration.
• Support electrical safety initiatives, arc flash studies, lockout/tagout, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate engineering resources outside of discipline with management.
• Manage project teams and contractors for safe project execution.
• Communicate status to project team and stakeholders regarding scope, schedule, and budget.
• Capture changes to electrical systems and update design drawings for records.
