Job summary

AE2S, an award-winning civil/environmental engineering firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Training to work under project management and design engineers. You will gain experience in report preparation, electrical system studies, and construction administration, with emphasis on personal career development.

Responsibilities include design tasks for water and municipal projects, SCADA, security systems, and power systems, plus collaboration with other disciplines and frequent design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Fundamentals in Engineering certified or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel as required (less than 10%)
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design tasks focused on water, wastewater, municipal, and process industrial projects.
• Assist in design of power distribution, instrumentation and control (SCADA), access control and security, fire alarm, and backup power systems.
• Assist Project Managers with reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Assist design, bidding and construction of electrical systems.
• Maintain project and company tracking information in Deltek.
• Attend design review meetings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
