Job summary

ITW, a global leader in industrial equipment, seeks an electrical engineer for its Warewash Division. You will conceive, plan, design, develop and coordinate project components, create prototypes and test plans, and generate engineering documentation.

You will design electrical control panels with Engineering and Production, develop assembly procedures, and advance PLC ladder logic and HMI programs. Occasional field visits and collaboration with sales, service and purchasing are expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of embedded micro-controller systems.
• Experience with communication protocols for peripheral devices.
• Ability to execute projects within specified timelines.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels with Engineering and Production teams.
• Develop and improve electrical control panel assembly procedures.
• Develop PLC ladder logic and HMI programs.
• Assist service with troubleshooting electrical issues by phone and on-site.
• Coordinate with engineering and purchasing to ensure UL 508A compliance.
