Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group is seeking an electrical engineer to conceive, plan, design, develop and coordinate project components including schedules and documentation. You will create prototypes, test plans and release plans while supporting sales, service and marketing.

You will bring hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, electrical components, circuit boards, processors and programming software. Travel to business locations and job sites is expected at a 10% rate.

Qualifications

BS degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of embedded micro-controller systems and communication protocols.
Solid understanding of micro-processors and embedded systems.
Ability to execute projects within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

Design electrical control panels with engineering and production teams.
Develop and improve electrical control panel assembly procedures and specifications.
Develop PLC ladder logic and HMI programs.
Assist service with troubleshooting electrical issues over the phone and on site.
