Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to support projects with Los Alamos National Lab in Los Alamos, NM. The ideal candidate will perform a range of electrical engineering duties, including the development of engineering design packages and project support. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience are required.

With a commitment to quality and safety, this role will contribute to critical environmental projects and requires U.S. Citizenship for federal contract compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Proven knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering responsibilities in support of facility design and maintenance.
• Develop and review engineering design packages.
• Provide project engineering support.

Skills

Experience with engineering design packages

Knowledge of electrical engineering principles

Familiarity with computer-aided design software

Ability to interface with multi-discipline teams

Working knowledge of DOE/NNSA codes

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
