Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly motivated engineer to design and test electronics of varying complexity in a collaborative team environment. You will schedule tasks, report status, and coordinate with engineers, program managers, and supply chain to drive programs forward.

The role requires 2+ years in EE/CE or an advanced degree, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.

What You Will Do
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing and testing electronics of various complexity in a team environment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for scheduling tasks, providing status, and working with a team of engineers, program managers, and supply chain.
  • The candidate will work as individual contributor or in a cross-discipline product development team environment with electrical, mechanical, and system engineers.
  • This position may require occasional business-related travel.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • 2+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with some design tools (SPICE, schematic/layout design software, MATLAB, ADS, HFSS, Hyperlynx, GeneSys as examples) and the ability and desire to learn new tools.
  • Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.
  • Hands‑on experience testing electronic products using bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high‑speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers or vector network analyzers.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
