About This Opportunity

The Electrical Engineer II provides leadership and guidance to Engineering and Design personnel in the proper application of design standards and code requirements. This role offers technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including internal and external resources. The Engineer II collaborates with Sales, Manufacturing, and other departments to meet customer specifications.

We specialize in custom building finishing equipment tailored to each customer's needs. Our team is supported through direct interaction with co-workers in a collaborative, family-oriented environment. Located in Osseo, WI, near Eau Claire and Minneapolis, we offer relocation assistance for this position.

What You Will Do
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks following standards
  • Provide technical leadership across drafting, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, installation, and customer service
  • Lead or participate in product development and corrective action teams to address cost, quality, and delivery concerns
  • Support installation and start-up at customer sites, both via phone and in person
  • Conduct research and development to improve standard products and introduce new ones
  • Enhance processes to improve accuracy, quality, and efficiency
  • Participate in technical reviews from proposal to production release
  • Analyze airflow, heating, lighting, and mechanical aspects
  • Design complex control systems, including hardware and software integration with HMI and PLC programming
  • Travel to job sites for start-up and commissioning
  • Ensure designs meet NFPA, UL, NEC code requirements
What You Have to Offer
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 3-8 years of experience, Master's Degree with 0-6 years, or an Associate degree with 10-15 years of experience
  • Good general knowledge of core products, technologies, and standards
