The Effector Subsystems Products (ESP) Team provides support todevelop and produce electronicsfor products across the Raytheon portfolio. Our core electrical engineering technologies include RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, andPower. We partner with various departments to deliver our electrical products to our end customers.
The Electronics Team is searching for a candidate to work in a multi-discipline production environment. This role will work within across-functionaland cross-discipline team of engineers through product development and production. The Electrical Production Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) provides both technical guidance and supervision in meeting projectcommitments.
Responsibilitieswill include mentoring less experienced engineers, working withsuppliers andsupportingthe team todeliver program data-based evidence to ensure proper decision-making for the direction of the program.
Responsibilitiesto Anticipate
Technical troubleshooting of production hardware and test equipment
Review designs and system requirements to resolve production issues
Investigate root-cause failures
Review and modify subsystem requirements and test plans
Act as asubject matter expert (SME), preparing and presenting to peers,administration, and governmentcustomers
Work within a multi-disciplined team including electronics hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, systems, test, supply chain, etc.
Collaborationwith both Functional and Program higher leveladministration as well as Customerand Suppliers
This role will serve as both mentor and mentee
Assignments may require some travel, including foreign travel
This is an ONSITE role in Huntsville, Alabama
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or relevant, equivalent degree
Minimum of 2yearsof engineering experience with progressivekey team leadershiproles such as IPTL or REA roles
Experience in analysis, test, measurement and/or integration of electrical products or systems
Experience in low level electronics troubleshooting
US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in projectguidance, systems engineering and architecture and have a desire to grow into a higher level of authority
Minimum 2 years experience serving as a ResponsibleEngineering Authority (REA), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
Experience with failure investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation
Experience with requirements verification test planning andimplementation
Current or prior experience with Strategic Missile Defense or NavalPowersystems development and/or production

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
