We offer competitive and quality services to clients in the commercial, corporate, government, healthcare, industrial, telecommunications and utility markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives that involve conventional types of plans and specifications.
- Responsible for electrical design, writing specifications, inter-discipline coordination, field surveys, and documentation, design reports and analysis.
- Performs design calculations and prepares equipment or material specifications.
- Provides project design team leadership, client management, proposals and fee estimating.
- Completing projects on time and within budget.
- Assist in marketing and sales efforts, and construction cost estimating.
- May direct/coordinate the work of designers and CAD Operators.
- Should have varied experience in the design of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, health care, educational and municipal facilities.
- Interact with vendors concerning parts they supply or propose to supply.
- Provides input to the other engineering departments.
Education and Experience:- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- PE certification required and 5+ years engineering experience.
- Must have initiative and be capable of working independently on most required tasks.
- Excellent communication skills required for marketing, leadership, and coordination
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Soft skills include a positive attitude, flexibility and conflict resolution.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- A detailed-oriented mindset committed to accuracy and precision in assessment methodologies and reporting.
Other Considerations:- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skill.
