Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer II to support the design and execution of electrical systems across energy and industrial facilities from their Baton Rouge office. Key responsibilities include performing advanced engineering analyses, developing detailed electrical designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, possess 3-5 years of relevant experience, and ideally have a Professional Engineering License. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive role within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of total engineering experience with 3+ years in electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred.
• Strong familiarity with industry codes including NFPA 70 (NEC).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical engineering analysis and system studies.
• Develop electrical system designs like one‑line diagrams and motor control schematics.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of electrical documents.
