Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to design and test electrical and electronic assemblies, develop concepts with cross-functional teams, and deliver formal documentation. The role involves component selection, prototype builds, and support for production, with opportunities to influence cost estimates and risk assessments.

A Secret clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry (Engineer II).
• Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other test equipment.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance (Secret level).

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of electrical and electronic assemblies and analysis, integration, and testing.
• Contribute to concept development with cross-functional teams, including prototyping and production support.
• Prepare formal engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Support proposals with input to cost estimates and risk assessments.
• Work with power electronics and drive circuits, including MOSFETs and board layout.
