Job summary

Raymond is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to lead electrical design efforts for building projects in a hybrid role based in Conyers, GA. The ideal candidate will manage small projects through multiple phases, support senior engineers on larger efforts, and design power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems with strong analytical skills.

You will prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program or equivalent review.
• 7+ years of experience with a qualifying degree or 10+ years with a non-American degree including 2+ years in the United States.
• Passed FE and PE examinations (NCEES).
• Professional Engineer licensure in the United States.
• Experience with electrical projects for buildings and structures.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts for smaller projects from concept to completion.
• Support senior engineers on larger projects by leading assigned tasks.
• Design electrical systems for buildings (power, lighting, fire alarm) and related documentation.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Draft specifications using MasterSpec or SpecsIntact formats.
• Conduct on-site assessments, surveys, and construction observations.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and regulators.
• Produce workhour estimates and assist with proposals and client communications.
