Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including motors, ECUs, switches, relays, wire harnesses, displays, and lighting.
• Develop component and assembly level engineering drawings.
• Assist in design and documentation of vehicle electrical architecture including service manuals or part books.
• Review supplier designs for quality and cost to eliminate issues and identify cost savings.
• Review and create functional specifications and engineering design standards.
• Perform tolerance studies and develop drawings.
• Manage validation testing and DFMEA for product validation.
• Conduct DFA/DFM assessments and cross-functional design reviews.
• Collaborate with outside suppliers to develop new technologies and cost reductions.
• Manage project schedules and budgets to meet requirements.
