Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the design team in our Hamilton, NJ office. You will progressed from basic design tasks to more complex projects in collaboration with a technical team.

Responsibilities include creating basic designs, developing specifications, and coordinating with the full design team on diverse projects, including Life Sciences. LEED experience and REVIT proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• Two to Four years of experience in a consulting firm.
• Experience in Life Sciences projects preferred.
• E.I.T. required.
• LEED AP, highly preferred.
• REVIT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of a Senior Engineer.
• Develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for various projects.
• Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and support due diligence and reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and work with the design team.
• Produce equipment selections, load/energy, and pressure drop calculations.
• Align drawing organization with master formats and company standards.
