RTM Engineering Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our team for diverse MEP projects across multiple locations. The role focuses on creating construction drawings, performing load calculations, and coordinating with other disciplines throughout the construction process.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year engineering degree and 3+ years in electrical design, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and codes.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit standards.
• Knowledge of SKM and lighting calculations.
• Understanding of building codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces construction electrical documents for permitting.
• Develops electrical design elements per project specs and hours.
• Creates load calculations within project parameters.
• Evaluates design options and selects equipment.
• Supports post-design activities through construction.
