Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Englewood, Colorado office. You will work on planning through final design for complex projects under supervision, performing calculations and producing drawings to meet codes and standards.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with power systems, BIM tools, and security systems. U.S. citizenship may be required; travel and clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Minimum 3 years of job-related experience; FE (EIT) certificate preferred.
Understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection, communications and security systems.
Experience with electrical equipment and cable sizing; proficiency in Power System Analysis software.

Responsibilities

Initiates and develops technical calculations, complex studies, and engineering drawings.
Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical drawings per project criteria and codes.
Uses industry-standard engineering software and applies BIM/Revit/MicroStation/AutoCAD MEP as required.
