What You Will Do

Primary assignments will include use and application of electrical engineering principles and techniques to design, develop, document, verify, support, and troubleshoot digital hardware for avionics products. Designs include the use of complex printed circuit board solutions, embedded digital logic, microprocessor technologies, and a variety of memory solutions. Work closely with Systems, Software, Mechanical and Environmental Effects engineering roles, as well as Manufacturing Operations and Design-to-Cost staff in order to assure requirements are met in all phases of a product's lifecycle. Perform activities that span all phases of the hardware development lifecycle including requirements capture, design, integration, verification, production transition, product sustainment, and customer interface.

What You Will Learn

Develop digital hardware used in high-performance computing products such as Mission Computers and aircraft Displays. You will be exposed to cutting‑edge technology and contribute to the creation of a wide variety of products.

Qualifications
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

We Prefer
  • FPGA development experience.
  • Experience with Ethernet, I2C, USB, LVDS, and SERDES bus technologies.
  • Experience with DDR1/2/3 memory interfaces.
  • Testing experience in DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461.
  • Design tools experience for signal integrity and timing analysis.
  • Capable of hands‑on troubleshooting using engineering lab equipment.
  • Requirements capture, tracing, and testability.

Pay

Salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
