As an Electrical Engineer II, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will be responsible for designing and integrating electrical/electronic systems, validating electrical/electronic systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems.
• In some applications, develop circuit card assemblies.
• Implement electrical wiring design practices.
• Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems and components.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in electrical/electronic circuit design and testing techniques.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Familiarity with working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for electrical applications.
• Understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards.
• Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis.
• Exposure to FAA electrical system regulations, including Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) requirements.
• Exposure to electrical/electronic Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and System Safety Assessment (SSA) concepts.
• Understanding of an Electrical Load Analysis (ELA).
• Experience with circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical component selection and manufacturing.
• Understanding Electromagnetic Effects (EME) to include Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
• Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture.
• Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools.
