Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in the AEC industry.
• Proficient in Revit and discipline-specific software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards.
• Ability to guide junior staff and manage internal reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of discipline-specific electrical systems for small to medium projects using Revit.
• Assist senior engineers with complex designs, plans and calculations.
• Perform calculations and simulations; review submittals and shop drawings.
• Respond to RFIs and conduct site visits; prepare reports.
• Ensure project delivery within schedules and budgets; QA/QC compliance.

Electrical Engineer II independently executes engineering tasks, manages components of projects, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams. Under minimal supervision, this role leads the design, analysis, and implementation of MEP-T systems for small to medium-sized projects and represents the firm to clients in that scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of discipline-specific systems for small to medium projects using Revit and modeling/calculation tools.
• Assist senior engineers with complex designs, plans, and calculations.
• Perform calculations and simulations.
• Review product submittals and shop drawings.
• Respond to RFIs for assigned scope.
• Conduct site visits and prepare reports.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in project meetings.
• Ensure project delivery within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Comply with QA/QC procedures and assist in developing project workplans.
• Office-based with regular site visits; must adhere to safety requirements

Knowledge Skills, And Abilities

• 3+ years of engineering experience in the AEC industry.
• Proficient in Revit and discipline-specific software.
• Strong grasp of building codes and design standards.
• Capable of guiding junior staff and leading internal reviews.
• Able to balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Skilled in preparing reports, proposals, and client communications.
• Comfortable representing the firm to clients for smaller projects.
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs. Site visits may involve ladders, uneven terrain, and varied weather.

Education & Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
