Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated 1st shift Electrical I Engineer in Andover, MA to support the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance department. You will assist with maintenance, calibration, and documentation of RF, digital, and high-power test equipment on the production floor.

The role requires a STEM degree, up to 2 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Strong communication and schematic-reading skills are valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) is typically required.
  • Ability to read and understand schematic drawings for test equipment designs.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of test equipment, including bench setup and common RF, Digital and/or High-Power platform testers.
  • Troubleshoot test equipment failures to identify root cause and guide technicians on necessary rework.
  • Create and review technical documentation, including calibration and preventative maintenance procedures, drawings, engineering specifications and Lock Out Tag Out.
  • Collaborate with other supporting engineering groups to resolve defects and implement improvements on the manufacturing floor.

Raytheon is seeking a motivated 1st shift Electrical I Engineer to fill a Maintenance, Repair and Engineering support role within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department, located in Andover MA. This position will support production maintenance needs across multi-discipline common platform systems. Candidate must be able to effectively operate in a high tempo operations environment and capable of multi-tasking often with actions requiring coordination across multiple support areas.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 0-2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and understand schematic drawings for test equipment designs.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiar with test equipment including network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, power supplies or similar.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
