Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to work on-site in Vancouver, Washington, supporting transmission and substation projects. You will develop and review RAS, protection, SCADA, and engineering design documents and support field and design teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school and at least 6 months of electrical engineering experience. US citizenship and on-site work are required for this federal contractor posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school is required.
• 6 months of electrical engineering experience is required.
• Knowledge of transmission system engineering, substation protection schemes, RAS, and SCADA design or construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain databases related to production of electrical drawings and documents.
• Prepare WECC, RAS engineering and configuration files to support projects.
• Draft design, material, or procurement specifications for equipment.
• Develop engineering requirements for facilities based on analysis of requirements and sources.
• Draft and revise RAS drawing templates and standards.
• Assist in site visits to verify equipment configuration and document as built records.
