Job summary

FBD Partnership, L.P. in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support hardware design, prototyping, testing and documentation for frozen beverage equipment.

You will work with PCBAs, power systems, and embedded components under senior engineers, contributing to ECOs and BOMs to drive product improvements.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and experience with C/C++, Python, and PCB design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related hardware field is required.
• 0–2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with programming languages including C, C++, C#, Python, or Java; familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• Electronic circuit analysis skills required.
• Familiar with schematic, PCB design tools (Altium/OrCAD/Eagle).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Update and support PCBAs, wire harnesses, and power systems for embedded electronics.
• Perform component selection, schematic design, PCB layout, and design validation.
• Create engineering models and drawings using Fusion 360 and SolidWorks.
• Plan and execute engineering tests; analyze results and prepare reports.
• Maintain engineering documentation in PDM/ERP and ECOs/BOMs.
