Job summary

Honeywell in Arvada, CO seeks an Electrical Engineer I to join the Controls Engineering Team. You will handle electrical and instrumentation on pump and compressor production orders installed globally, reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineering Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 2+ years of related experience, with travel to customer sites and knowledge of NFPA70/NEC, IEC, ISA, and UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in electrical/instrumentation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and control system engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
• Develop and review P&ID diagrams and I/O assignments.
• Design junction boxes and control panels for production orders.
• Develop PLC programs and HMI configurations; verify control system networks.
• Conduct FAT and panel tests; lead or assist in design reviews.
• Support continuous improvement projects and document development.
