Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support the campus electrical distribution system and related research equipment projects. Based in Atlanta, you will collaborate with facilities management, utilities personnel, and faculty to ensure safe, reliable electrical services and compliant engineering practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of job related experience.
  • Ability to work with facilities management, utilities personnel, and faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic design and installation of electrical/electronic components.
  • Review and provide input to engineering plans and specifications.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting; calibration and repair work.
  • Prepare drawings, schematic diagrams and related documentation.
  • Monitor expenses and prepare related reports.
  • Interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
