Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 0–5 years of experience for our Pittsburgh office. You will report to the Associate Director of Electrical Engineering and contribute to power, lighting, and backup power system designs using Revit and AutoCAD in a consulting engineering environment.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of electrical design in building projects, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in electrical design in consulting engineering.
• Use of design and analysis software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, Easypower.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive and collaborative team member.
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design in building construction under supervision of licensed engineer.
• Perform analysis, design and documentation of power, lighting, and backup power systems.
• Coordinate with specialists for fire alarm, technology and lighting design as required.
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines for equipment power needs and sizing.
