Job summary

Longshot Space Technologies Corporation is building a compact space launch system with a focus on affordability and reliability. We seek an early-career electrical engineer to design, build, and test CCAs, firmware, and harnesses that fire, measure and sequence at the launcher.

You will work closely with mechanical, software, and test teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will own circuit design from bench to flight readiness, spending time on the bench, CAD, and field-test sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 0–2 years of experience.
• Internship, co-op, or substantial personal/team project in rocketry, Formula SAE, robotics, or power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and debug electrical hardware for test articles: ignition and trigger circuits, control boards, sensor conditioning, power distribution and harnesses.
• Capture schematics, lay out or review PCBs, and produce wiring diagrams and harness drawings.
• Write and debug firmware for microcontrollers or FPGAs for control, sequencing and test systems.
• Document requirements, specifications and interface drawings for owned assemblies.
• Integrate instrumentation and data acquisition and interpret test data.
