Job summary

Jabil is seeking an entry-level Electrical/Electronic Engineer to assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems for defense and aerospace applications. You will work under supervision to support senior engineers and contribute to project tasks.

You will gain hands-on experience with circuit design, testing, and documentation while collaborating with mechanical, software, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic electronic components, circuits, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to defense contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of electronic circuits, components, and systems for defense and aerospace products.
• Conduct basic testing and debugging of electronic hardware, including circuit boards and prototypes.
• Perform calculations and simulations to verify design specifications and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, under guidance.
• Support integration of electrical systems into larger aerospace and defense platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical aspects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to electronic and electrical systems.
• Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and engineering principles.
