Job summary
SharkNinja is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer – Advanced Development to join our global team. You will lead early-stage architecture development across electrical, embedded, and software domains, prototyping scalable, manufacturable solutions for next-generation products.
You will collaborate with engineering, ID/UX, product management, and manufacturing to validate designs and drive system-level decisions at pace in a consumer electronics environment.
Qualifications
- BSc or MS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in technical engineering role.
- Experience in advanced development beneficial for consumer electronics or similar.
Responsibilities
- Support early-stage technology and system architecture development across electrical, embedded, and software domains.
- Support design and testing of reusable subsystem modules.
- Validate subsystem designs against defined system-level requirements.
- Integrate cross-functional subsystems: electronics, sensors, firmware, mechanics into cohesive platforms.
- Conduct system-level trade-off analyses and risk assessments.
- Foster a systems-thinking culture within the advanced development team.

- Support early‑stage technology and system architecture development across electrical, embedded, and software domains.
- Support design and testing of reusable subsystem modules.
- Validate subsystem designs and reusable modules against defined system‑level requirements.
- Integrate cross‑functional subsystems: electronics, sensors, firmware, mechanics into cohesive platforms.
- Conduct system‑level trade‑off analyses and technical risk assessments.

- Collaborate with global engineering, ID/UX, product management, and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to identify and implement new technologies that drive impactful architecture changes.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven development environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills, with high emotional intelligence.
- Systems architecture and integration across electrical, embedded, and mechanical domains
- Analog/digital circuit design: low‑noise, A/D, D/A, filters, transmission lines
- Power electronics: AC/DC, PFC, flyback, buck/boost, compliance with regulatory standards
- Embedded systems: ARM, microcontrollers, memory interfaces, firmware co‑design
- Sensor integration: LiDAR, IR, ToF, IMUs, cameras, motion and proximity sensors
- Wireless communications: Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, 433 MHz
- Edge AI / ML implementation (a plus)
- Rapid prototyping: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar frameworks
- BSc or MS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in technical engineering role
- Experience in advanced development, preferably within consumer electronics or consulting for consumer product companies is a plus
The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
