SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support embedded electronic design across the full product development lifecycle—concept through production. You'll work hands-on with hardware and firmware, partnering with global cross-functional teams to bring reliable, high-quality consumer products to market.

We value BS in Electrical Engineering and 0–2 years of embedded hardware experience, with strong circuit design fundamentals and exposure to microcontrollers and Arduino

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 0–2 years of embedded hardware development experience.
• Foundational circuit design skills: component selection, analysis.
• Exposure to microcontrollers and Arduino prototyping.
• Experience with schematic capture, BOM generation, and PCB layout.
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop consumer electronic products from concept through production.
• Develop electrical specifications aligned to product and customer requirements.
• Review and develop schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, and test plans.
• Build and execute electrical test plans to verify design functionality and performance.
• Support prototype bring-up and hardware verification during development builds.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues through testing, analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Run circuit analysis and simulation to support design and debug.
• Contribute to design reviews, driving improvements in performance and reliability.
• Partner with product development, quality, safety, and compliance teams to meet program objectives.
• Coordinate with global engineering teams to hit hardware milestones.
• Support compliance/certification testing, including EMI/EMC and electrical safety issue resolution.
• Build cost estimates from EBOMs and evaluate feature-to-cost tradeoffs.

Electrical Engineer I

About the Role

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer I to support embedded electronic design across the full product development lifecycle — from concept through production. Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
