Job summary

Bluedot is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in hydroelectric plants to support electrical design and upgrades across hydro facilities. You will perform calculations, specify equipment, and coordinate design efforts to meet project goals.

The role is on-site in Rancho Cordova, California, five days a week, for approximately 12 months on a contract-to-hire basis. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of hydroelectric experience are required; PE license preferred.

Support electrical design and upgrades for hydroelectric facilities, including calculations, equipment specifications and design coordination.

Requirements: 5+ years of hydroelectric engineering experience; accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; knowledge of NFPA 70 and the California Electrical Code. PE license, SKM/ETAP and Bluebeam experience are preferred.

On-site in Rancho Cordova, California, five days per week, 40 hours/week. Approximately 12 months. Contract-to-hire opportunity; conversion is not guaranteed.
