Job summary

Pacific Press Holdings in Mount Carmel, IL, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, document, install, and commission electrical systems for hydraulic presses and related equipment. You will create drawings and BOMs, collaborate with Mechanical and Controls teams, and support field service and customers as needed.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 3–4 years in capital equipment or manufacturing, and experience with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 3–4 years manufacturing/capital equipment experience preferred.
  • Experience reading schematics and electrical controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Create 2D electrical drawings and schematics for hydraulic presses and related equipment.
  • Create, release, and maintain BOMs and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Controls Engineering on design and execution.
  • Support Production, Service, Sales, and customers with electrical questions.
  • Identify and implement safety and performance improvements while reducing cost.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field-service needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
