Job summary

Williams in New Albany, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our power generation team. You’ll design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems, support uptime and safety, and contribute to capital projects and system upgrades.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in electrical engineering, knowledge of NEC/IEEE/NFPA, and experience with power distribution, UPS, generators; PE license is a plus. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• PE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E.
• Experience with low/medium voltage distribution, UPS, generators.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems.
• Lead and support preventative and corrective maintenance for critical electrical infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, system upgrades, and improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as schematics and maintenance procedures.
