Job summary

Ohmite Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team and collaborate with multiple disciplines to improve resistor-based products. You will participate in hardware definition, selection, and development of high-power resistor assemblies to meet customer needs.

Key duties include improving processes, developing designs for better performance, and ensuring reliability, quality, and safety throughout product development while coordinating with various departments to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
Minimum of five years in Electronic Components domain.
Experience testing resistors and understanding electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documents.

Responsibilities

Participate in selecting and developing High-Power Resistor assemblies per customer requests.
Define and develop High-Power Resistors with controls/metering/protection features.
Improve processes to meet customer demands and develop better product performance.
Interface with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Production, and Testing to understand requirements.
