Job summary

C2 ALASKA, LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support infrastructure systems, modernization, and compliance activities for the USUHS campus. The role includes providing technical consultation, developing PWS/SOW documents, and overseeing electrical construction and maintenance projects.

The candidate will review designs for compliance with UFC and NEC, perform power system analyses, and contribute to project meetings as the Technical Representative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in healthcare/medical research/academia facility field.
• Minimum three (3) years within the last four (4) years’ experience.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in design/consulting.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation for electrical infrastructure repair and modernization projects.
• Develop Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents and estimates.
• Coordinate and provide technical oversight of electrical construction, maintenance, repair, and modernization projects at USUHS.
• Support planning, design review, scheduling, coordination, execution, and commissioning of projects involving facility electrical systems.
• Develop accurate current working estimates.
• Serve as Technical Representative in project meetings and kick-offs.
• Perform Quality Assurance and Safety compliance visits.
• Review design drawings, specs and cost estimates for compliance with UFC and NEC.
