Job summary

NYCOR is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its West Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on designing and maintaining electromechanical systems and leading subsystem development within broader projects.

You will provide technical direction to junior staff and collaborate across disciplines to translate requirements into robust architectures, perform feasibility analyses, and verify designs through testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs, control panel layouts, schematics, and high power distribution (e.g., 480V).
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP software; cross-functional collaboration with teams.

Our client located in the West Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis; Minnesota is looking to add to their team an Electrical Engineer due to continued growth. Highlights/Qualifications:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs under the direction of a senior engineer or manager.
• Lead the development of subsystems in larger design efforts or the complete electrical system development in smaller projects.
• Provide technical direction to junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Provides engineering support to internal and external customers and performs other tasks as assigned.
• Translate requirements into a system architecture and detailed design.
• Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors.
• Validate designs through analysis and testing

Education: BS in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 3+ years experience in developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs, control panel layouts, schematics, and power distribution-high power like 480v

• Working knowledge of business software including MS Office suite.
• Experience with ERP software.
• Collaborate with others to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
• Lead design reviews consisting of multi-disciplined and cross functional team members and project management meetings.

Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Annual salary rate: $85K to $20K (Depending on experience) Plus annual bonus!
