Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and create electrical/electronic hardware and firmware for commercial products. You will collaborate with project management, product managers, and operations to move products from concept through production and throughout their lifecycle.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 2+ years’ experience; MSEE with 1+ year experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; 2+ years’ experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Experience designing to meet UL listing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and create electrical/electronic hardware and firmware for commercial products based on specifications and compliance.
• Interface with project management, product managers, and operations to take products from concept through production and support lifecycle.

UART/SPI/I2C/CAN protocols

Education
