Join Coffman Engineers in Boise as an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience. You will work closely with the electrical department and other disciplines to design electrical systems for diverse facilities.

The role offers leadership opportunities, client interaction, and a path toward project management and growth within a growing Boise office. You will develop deliverables, review site plans, and coordinate with design partners while leveraging Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred; licensure pursued encouraged.
• 5+ years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of IBC, NEC, and US design standards.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
• Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team.
• Experience with electrical studies (e.g., SKM, E-Tap, Easy Power).
• Healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, federal/DoD, science and technology, and/or data center projects preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical engineering design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, calculations, studies, and reports.
• Prepare and review electrical site plans, one-line diagrams, lighting and power plans, and equipment schedules.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and verify existing conditions.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, and design partners; collaborate with Revit and AutoCAD designers to communicate design updates.
• Perform load, voltage drop, short circuit, and photometric calculations; support business objectives and project growth.
