Job summary

Encore Technologies is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer for a client manufacturing converting equipment. You will participate in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and design support for electrical components used in converting machinery.

The role requires a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree or related field, 0–3 years of experience, and proficiency with PLC and motion control software. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this client-facing

Qualifications

Education generally equivalent to a 4-year Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
0-3 years of engineering design experience with converting equipment.
Ability to use PLC and motion control software (Logix 5000, Siemens TIA, Step 7, Bosch, Codesys).
Ability to use Microsoft Office software (Excel, OneNote, Teams).
Strong oral and written communication skills with customers.
Strong analytic skills to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
Ability to use complex software for design, problem solving, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Provides services relating to installation, start up and commissioning of converting equipment at customer locations.
Performs product testing and troubleshooting to certify equipment for customer acceptance.
Contributes to design and layout of electrical components and systems.
Assesses electrical component requirements and creates BOMs.
Creates and implements control programs for PLC, HMI, motion and display systems.
Assists with coordination of assembly operations during equipment construction.
