Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Engineer—Facilities Power Design for our semiconductor client in Sacramento, CA. Lead commissioning for facility upgrades, manage power distribution, and ensure safe operation of high-voltage infrastructure.

5–10+ years in high-voltage environments, NEC/SEMI standards knowledge, SKM or similar arc-flash tools, and strong documentation to support commissioning plans are required. Competitive salary with relocation and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• 5–10+ years in electrical engineering in high-voltage environments.
• Experience with power distribution, MCCs, VFDs, and backup power up to 12,000 V.
• Experience with arc flash studies, bids/proposals, design and implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SKM, ProCore, Revit, AutoCAD for design review.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning for facility upgrades and new equipment installations.
• Develop commissioning plans, performance protocols, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Manage electrical project documentation including scopes of work, switchgear schedules, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
• Support facility upgrades and tool installations, ensuring NEC, SEMI standards compliance.
• Implement power system reliability strategies including load-shedding and fault analysis.

• Develop and validate commissioning plans, performance protocols, and troubleshooting procedures to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Manage electrical project documentation including scopes of work, switchgear schedules, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
• Support facility upgrades and tool installations, ensuring compliance with NEC, SEMI standards, and corporate specifications.
• Implement power system reliability strategies, including load-shedding, fault analysis, and safety procedures, to uphold operational integrity.

• 5-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, construction support, and operational troubleshooting in high-voltage environments.
• Proficiency with power distribution systems, motor control centers, VFDs, and backup power systems up to 12,000 V.
• Experience with arc flash studies, bids and proposals, design and implementations, troubleshooting electrical systems, design review
• Experience with SKM or similar arc flash modeling software, ProCore, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar electrical design and modeling software for design review.
