The NSA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, plan, and oversee specialized equipment and power systems in critical facilities. You will evaluate drawings, apply NEC standards, and guide cost estimation and project management from concept to implementation.

As a Technical Intelligence & Science Services professional, you will use your skills to create the systems and tools that will be used to enhance the operation of intelligence. You will advise, administer and perform projects, such as planning, designing, and constructing specialized equipment, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and principles. The NSA offers multiple areas of focus for facilities engineers, including architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection, mechanical.

Relevant experience must be working in an electrical engineering capacity (for example, UPS, switchgear, SCADA, transformers, substations, power panels, switchboards, and metering of power). Additionally, must have experience using NEC code and computer aided design and drafting, reading design drawings, and cost estimation. Experience may also include project management.
Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
