A global technology company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and test battery technologies for backup systems. The role requires collaboration across multiple teams and a strong background in electrical engineering and battery technology. Candidates with experience in UPS systems and related areas are preferred. The position is based onsite in Delaware, USA.
The Electrical Engineer - Energy Storage will be responsible for the development and testing of new battery technologies and electronic subsystems for large battery backup products used with Vertiv uninterruptible power supplies. The role requires a deep understanding of batteries and battery technology, and close collaboration with teams across research & development, product management, program management, and manufacturing engineering. The successful candidate will deliver solutions that meet cost, schedule, and performance targets. This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Delaware, OH office location.
