Job summary
the company is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer in Sunnyvale to drive PCBA design, system-level electronics, and cross-functional collaboration. You will define requirements, design analog/digital circuits, and collaborate with firmware and software teams through prototyping to production.
Strong experience with MCU interfaces and hands-on testing is required; in-office with flexible work-from-home during project phases is offered.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- End-to-end PCBA design experience from spec to manufacture.
- Strong analog, digital, and power circuit knowledge.
- Experience with USB, I2C, SPI interfaces.
- Proficient with bench tests and debugging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, and implement electronic systems at board and system level.
- Own architecture and documentation of wiring and harness solutions.
- Collaborate with ME, firmware, software, and systems teams to validate designs.
- Define and maintain test setups used by hardware and software teams.
- Lead reviews of specs, schematics, layouts, and test results.
- Create design documentation for knowledge transfer.
- Define manufacturing and end-of-line testing strategies.
