Abbott is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Vascular R&D team in St. Paul, MN, contributing to the design, development and testing of next-generation intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) systems.
The role blends embedded electronics, firmware, automation, and experimental test systems, collaborating closely with electrical, software, mechanical, and systems engineers, as well as clinical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory partners.

As a Electrical Engineer on the Vascular R&D team, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of next-generation intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) systems. This role is highly hands‑on and systems‑focused, working at the intersection of embedded electronics, firmware, automation, and experimental test systems. You will collaborate closely with electrical, software, mechanical, and systems engineers, as well as clinical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory partners, to develop innovative devices and advanced characterization methods that ensure efficacy, safety, and manufacturability. This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00
